Which block would you recommend? Also I was looking at www.vtengines.com and I found a 4.6L Aluminum block for $1295.00 that just doesnt seem right, and they also sell the Iron block for $395.00

How much are you willing to spend? Is it worth an extra grand to shave 50-60lbs off of the front end of your car? Otherwise, stick with the iron block.....and go with a '96-up.

Also, you can get a complete 93-98 Mark VIII motor (aluminum Tesksid block) out of a junkyard for ~$500 +/-, use that as your core for VT rather than pay $1300 for a new aluminum GT block. If you plan on going the Big Bore route you will need the aluminum block (the Teksid blocks are stronger anyway), if not Iron is fine.
