They both have the EEC-V don't they? Just checkin on something.
their chips are not reflashable. Thats's why you have to getAverageJoe said:They both have the EEC-V don't they? Just checkin on something.
I thought 89-95 v6's and 91-93 v8s had EEC IV and 94-97 v8s had EEC V.MagerThom said:

a whole new chip. The '96-'97's are EEC-V's and their chips
are reflashable. They are not compatible.
Hope this helps.
Now that I think of it you may well be right. If so, then IGreenBird said:

Yep. 94+ V8's were EEC-V, even my aincent 11/93 bird has an EEC-V (two of them now.. lol)MagerThom said:

believe the '94-'95's still are not reflashable and
require a new (additional) chip. Where's Dennis....?
And I'm left wondering if I'm right or wrong about the 96-87 v6 being EEC V.ShadowDragon said:

I dunno, I have a chip and don't have access to "the man" to even think about getting my spare EEC flashed.MagerThom said:

question? The '94-'95's (as I recall are NOT reflashable and

(reflashable), right?
Well it is the Power Adder/EEC Tuning forum.AnthraxBird said:Stop saying EEC! =)) It's rotting my brain... and do you guys know if you say it too much, it looses its meaning? It's weird as f*ck..
