I like the setup. How good are these? they arnt cheap 700$ But I dont mind paying the extra $$ for the convience of bolt on. And I dont know anyone around here that does a good job on exhaust. These I could just bolt on in my driveway.

Also does anyone have any sound clips of these? I'd like to know how they really sound.

And these guys are less than 2 hours from me so i'd just go and pick em up. I wonder if I walked in with cash if they would cut me a deal...

I had them do the install on mine since I am sorta local. I doubt cash is going to sway them as I don't think they even build them until someone wants one. I watched them build mine on the jig before going in the car and it was an art form so to speak. Give them a call and see what it would cost installed since you are so close.

Do they need my car to build it? I was thinking about just driving our truck down there and picking it up...
If I get them to put it on how much did they charge?
Did they do a good job? how's it sound?

Maybe I'll just give em a call tommorw.

The quote I got:
<I>
The catback bolt on system is $680 for a stainless catless bolt on system, plus 90 for a set of super turbo mufflers. We do not have ultra flow mufflers. Shipping is $70.

because some of us live where there is no salt or snow, and my aluminized factory exhaust lasted 8 years, and showed no signs of any corrosion, so stainless steel is an unneeded expense here.

I talked to Dan @ ART about 2 months ago. At that time the off road aluminized X-bolt on system, from the manifolds back, without cats or mufflers, was $550. Mufflers are extra. 2" dual pipes are the norm, 2-1/4" are no problem though. The best part I thought, was to install at his shop was only $150. So, if you are local to the Miami area, that is a pretty good looking total price. Here in FL, most places want an extra $150 to boot to leave the cats on the ground. Dan's price comes to 550 for pipes, about 130 for muffs, 150 install, that = $830 +$50 tax = $880. Total package installed for a complete mandrel bent off road dual system without cats, not bad! I did not buy from Dan, but but that's a good price for the whole shootin' match. When I ran some numbers through the old pocket calculator, I found that mandral bent pipes are for the rich and famous, headers with ceramic or titainum hot wax are the same way. What we are really doing, is adding about 25% increase to intake flow, with all the mods, thus we are looking for about 25% exhaust flow. This keeps torque/ Hp close. When you take cats off, you lose torque, but after about 1000 miles, the computer compunsates. The JBS headers, in stainless steel, will meet all the needs we need in the 210-250 HP range. Then the stock 2" to 2-1/4" to 2" tail pipe system needs to go to 2-1/4" to 2-1/2" to 2-1/4 ". Compression bent is fine, along with the Mufflers of your choice. This will give you the extra 25% in exhaust flow. So I did compression bent 2.25-2.50-2.25 with muffs for $600 including tax. Headers I did on my own, and don't ask how fun they were! It looks just like stock now, but it's better. Problem solved. It takes a while for the computer to compo, but it works great. Every day it hauls the mail just a little better. ED

Josh, If you're set on ART than go for it by all means, but you can do true duals much cheaper and local. My 3.27 rear was just installed today, and tomorrow morning it goes to the exhaust shop here locally to have true duals bent and installed. 2.25" all the way back into Magnaflows and Magnaflow tips from immediately rear of the front cats...would have been about the same price to remove the cats, and the whole setup is less than the ART system without muffs etc. A similar setup should provide all the flow and sound you'll ever need, and save you a few to several hundred dollars. You are relatively close to PC, mine is being done at Charlotte Harbor Exhaust. I'd recommend you at least think about it unless that money is burning a hole in your pocket, in which case I'll take some of it off your hands ;)
