 Welding a empty gas tank is not a safe fix , what I 'd like to know is what is the procedure for a gas tank repair if the lines or should I say fitting become detached from the tank? Some posts say that they must be re-soldered to the tank. I suppose one would use a soldering Iron to complete this repair. But now I am hearing that the fuel tank is plastic, what is the deal.
