Okay.. searching doesn't always work too well. I've got a 99 main control that I'm getting ready to modify. I don't see holw number 8. The only hole that looks even remotely close is already pretty big... Maybe my skimming missed something.. but do I even need to mess with this if I've got the 99 MC? Oh. and Hole #5 is actually two holes, right?

Note #3: This is the location of the #8 hole on 1997 and older separator plates. Find this hole to open up on your plate if your valve body was built prior to 1996.

That says for 97 and older MC that is where #8 is. AND find and open this hole if you have 1996 and older MC.

Now if you look at drill specs for 97 you will find that there should be done no change to #8. I guess no change to #8 on 97 and older. http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny/transmission/d97.jpg

BUT, I'm not a specialist on all these stuff, I'm just doing my second j-mod all day tomorrow, and that one would be 95, so you'll need somebody else's expertise to be 100% sure.
