Have some people that keep asking me about the K&N filter. The "kit" as they call it is 57-2505-1. Basically you are buying the filter and a few screws and clamps. Now the rf-1016 is the samething, but without the clamps and screws.

57-2505-1 around $100 Retail

RF-1016 around $40 Retail

If you can't find clamps and screws for under $60 you probably should take a marketing class.

Both products are K&N and both have the same filter. RF is the filter alone.

Hope this helps.

yep that filter charger from k&n is a waste of money, all you need is the filter not all them clamps, your paying 120 dollars for a filter and two clamps.

don't buy either one and stay with a paper filter.

You will be way ahead of the game if you learn that.

Not if you buy a particular cold air intake made specifically for 97 thunderbirds.

Who creates this system? A ford mechanic of over 15 years and proven hp gains on machine.

Go ahead keep your paper filter. :uppoint:
