Howdy. Just joined the site (obviously) after lurking for a couple months. Name's Dave and am actually Sophosis' kid brother. I have recently acquired a '91 LX that will be receiving the complete drivetrain from my former 89 SC. Which I will be making a thread on here shortly (edit: thread made - http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.php?p=898651#post898651 ). Actually, after the accident I was hoping to find a 5.0 that needed a transmission on the cheap to swap in the R2 from the SC. After I found out everyone around here thinks their ***** don't stink even with a blown up motor, transmission, and fading/peeling paint I just gave up.

Welcome...good luck with the SC swap if you're still thinking of doing it. I was considering it for awhile with my LX, but I think I may just go the "easy" route and 5.0 it.
