haha thats would not be able to "see" things fall into a black hole
Yeah, It would su*k for a long, long time if we fell into a black hole. :D

By the math involved, nothing has actually ever fallen into a black hole yet; we can detect the time-dilated matter giving off x-rays as it goes in, but as time pretty much stops at the event horizon, and slows exponentially as you approach it, nothing has ever actually got there yet...Tidal forces would turn you into an extremely long piece of spaghetti, taking forever to do it.

But, if you take a black hole, and spin it fast enough that it turns into a toroid, the space-time distortion should be flat enough to go straight thru... (Now that's a super gate...)
