I know their engine building quality is awesome, but I've never heard of their tunes. I think they were the first company to create the 5 liter modular engine. For a tuner I'd go somewhere that speacializes in it.

i know of their engine building quality and i would like to have them to change my pi cams but from their price of parts i might be bit scared to think of their labor charges, but they are very familiar with our modular engine. shops around my town are only either killer or dummies.

If they are the only ones in town who are really familiar with modular engines and you don't feel like doing it yourself then I think your stuck.

my friend got his mustang dyno tuned there.... it was supposed to be around 300 but they did it for 187$... before the tune 280 a rw. now it makes 310 at the rw and no real curve anymore...just a straight line almost..... so i would say they do good work...

(mustang was a 99 cobra motor in a 96 gt)..... but i think you have to call ahead and schedule an appointment to dynotune the car....

I wouldn't buy anything from them.
Their race engines aren't even built by them-they have anoher company build them.Yet-they build the engines that they sell to the public..really ethical eh?.

I don't give a rat's *** if it's a business or not.
If you sell "Livernois racing engines" to the public, yet don't trust your own work enough to race one of your engines-then it's an unethical issue, and is deceptive for their race car to claim to have a "Livernois racing engine" in it.

Whos to say that they didn't have another shop make em to their specs? Maybe Livernois can't handle the amount of orders they had and needed to get another shop for their equipment. There are a bunch of reasons that they might have other shops build their engines. I'm not saying its the right thing to do and can see your point on not building their own engines, but some times things need to be done. First thing they teach you in business school is if your not making a profit, there is no business. Every race shop out there is a business first and a race team second. Doesn't matter how you look at it.

Not having faith in your own product is bad business any way you look at it.

I don't know of ANY racing engine builders that run another company's engines in their race car.None of them-except Livernois.

There has to be a reason other than they don't trust their own products. You guys may be right, but I think there is a better reason.
Think what you want in that fantasy world you're living in.
Maybe Santa Claus or the tooth fairy will stop by with the Easter bunny and explain unethical/deceptive business practices for you-because you just don't get it.

Thats really interesting. I'll have to check into that.

Next time I see Roxanne and Barry Shephard I'm gonna find out why they are running around at all these tracks using false advertising on their Mustangs and promoting products and engines that Livernois sponsors and never even built.

If they are, then they owe us an explanation at least!!!!!

I am not sure who this "Johnny Langton" is but I will say that what ever credibility this guy has is completely lost from the comments he just made about Livernois Motorsports. Every sentence about our company is completely inaccurate! I am not sure what purpose he has to damage our reputation or why?

Lets start with a few of his completely un-ethical post’s

First Livernois Motorsports has NEVER EVER had a single shop do any engine building for us PERIOD. As a matter of fact this guy has made comments about someone else doing the engine in my personal car….This is crazy never ever has anyone but Livernois Motorsports built a motor for my Street Outlaw car or Roxanne Shepard’s. I think "Johnny Langton" has some purpose to bash us for some reason. I will be more than happy to give anyone a tour of our facility (locally), and those who can’t, can view pics of our recently remodeled, state of the art machine shop / engine build facility on our website. Engine Build Facility CLICK HERE

This guy also states “I don't know of ANY racing engine builders that run another company's engines in their race car. None of them-except Livernois.
JL”

Well to set the record straight we build engines for other shops who market OUR engines under their name. To keep from letting this guy damage other people’s reputation I will refrain from mentioning any names.

I don’t know what fantasy world you are living in "Johnny Langton" but in our world people who do this kind of stuff must have a serious psychological problem, if you must continue to damage our reputation I suggest you get what ever bull$%#! you have heard, and get your facts straight, no body likes a liar. I urge you to come down here and take a tour of our facility, and meet the engine builders and machine shop guys that put my engine and Roxanne’s together.

I really don’t know what else to say other than this kind of stuff disgusts me and really ruins my day to come in and do damage control for people’s ignorance. I will give you my personal guarantee and hold my statements in any court of law that everything I said in this post is completely the truth. I can’t say the same for other people’s comments!

Sincerely

Dan Millen

Oh yeah below you will find some pics of Roxanne Shepard's engine signed by all the staff at Livernois Motorsports, along with LIVERNOIS MOTORSPORTS Engine Builder's John Lohone and Bill Osad.
