A couple of times I've encountered this issue .
After hard acceleration then cruising for a few hundred ft. then come to a stop. it seems as though its loading up going to die. So I put it in neutral as to clear its throat.
Would the vacuum canister valve be the culprit. I've noticed at times fumes from the engine bay and found no visual leaks.Other than that idles smooth with no other problems. Bone stock. Thanks for your inputs

Try cleaning the mass air flow sensor and the Idle air control valve and see if that helps. Other than that you might need to decarbon the top end.

You must have been playing with your home lobotomy kit..........AGAIN
Yeah; Judging from your post, you must've been my last victim... :)

Your car is running rich, you post an idiotic couple of posts, and get no replies; The best one I can think of is :

Use Search!

Look up "+Rich +gas +fumes" and start there...

Then try "+vacuum +leak"

Try "+rotten +vacuum +lines"

work from there.

There are two good methods to look for leaks. Guess which one I won't be recommending you try...
