O.k. by looking at my info the car is not fast but give me time. I want too start at the suspension and the rear end first so I come to ask the ? Of what should I do for a drag suspension? :zdunno: I have some Ideas but no clear path to start. this is what I can think of.
1:MN12 Performance's poly bushings all of them 600.00
2:MN12 Performance's IRS brace 235.00
3:HALFSHAFTs from autozone 170.00
4:RACK & PINION from autozone 100.00
5:Eibach's Pro-Kit from shox 250.00
6:KONI adjustable shocks from scp 510.00
7:jl's hole kit 600.00
8:3.73 gear from summit (ford racing) 170.00
9:Detroit Truetrac differential 435.00
10:steeda diff cover brace from dan 120.00

That's the list so far but what about sway bars? subframe too body bushings? other odds and ends and brakes for stock 15inch rims? I will be useing the stock spares tires up front with the fans in back. should I get anything else or better parts then I liste?. I want the suspension to be done so I can go on too makeing power to the 26x9 hoosiers. I did :search: but ca't find info on all the suspension just parts here and there. also what do you think of powder coating the subframe would that be heavy? Thanks for any info.

O.K. found that I need all the moog replacment parts listed 1000's of times on the bordes added to the list for the front but can someone tell me what I need for the back? I did search for back and nothing for bushings. I also think I will go with front and back 1 1/4 sway bars. do I need end links in a smaller size with a lowered car? some say yes and others say no. thanks for any help.

If you're building the car for drag racing, installing the ADDCO bars probably aren't the best idea. They weigh quite a bit more than the stock bars.

Also, why are you wanting to replace your halfshafts and rack and pinion with stock pieces from autozone? If you're going to the trouble of swapping halfshafts, I'd recommend upgrading to the SC "Fat" shafts or a set of Raxles.

I'd suggest reading the writeup on setting the car up for drag racing in the tech articles if you haven't already.

Just an FYI, but since Raxle's deal with Ford fell apart, they're half-shafts are junk. You'd be a lot better off with stock SC half shafts then Raxles.

Personally, I'd have to break quite a few SC halfshafts before I would even consider laying out $500 for a set of Raxles anyway.

The SC halfshafts seem to hold up very well.

I couldn't agree more. Keeping somewhat on the topic, what rear springs do you think I should run in my car, to help with wieght transfer? I am considering going with stock V6 NA springs??

If you're looking for all out weight transfer, then I'd have to say that the NA V6 springs would be the way to go. I saw your post on the topic over at sccoa. The only thing that I saw on your list that won't be too great for the dragstrip is the heavy front ADDCO 1 3/8" sway bar. Those things aren't light.
