The low coolant light is on when I turn it on regardless of the slope i'm parked on. and it turns off after about 30 seconds to a minute.

Any idea on what is wrong? not even a month ago my dad and I put some coolant in there, and its only been driven maybe 5 times in that time frame.

funny, mine does the samething.It no big deal, its been doing it since winter started so i wonder if the sensor is dirty ( i did have some ice in my coolant res) or damaged..Just keep an eye on your coolant level and temp guage...

my coolant sensor did the same thing, it was full, and when u first started the car, after 5-10 minutes, itd go off... i got tired of seeing the lights, so i swapped it out with a din holder that are in some 97s, check your local junkyard for one if u wanna get rid of it

The sensor is in the overfill tank it is a magnet in a float if the float get water logged it will stay down turning the light on. I just tied mine up...light fixed.
