has anyone replaced the lower control arm on their cars?.....doesnt look to hard but im check to see if theres any tricks to it besides just the regular run through.....and what tools are needed?

basic hand tools if your car has no rust. If you change the arm, you absolutely will need a front end alignment, it will be way off. I would drive the car directly from where you are working on it to the alignment shop.

A good shop manual will help you out here, its under an hour job.

You will need a joint separator BFH to separate the ball joint from the knuckle but that's about it as far as "special tools" goes.

oh yeah, by the way. You need to drop the kmember to change your control arms :D

under an hour jobs works for me.....with any tool you can think of at my disposal and a lift with 4 hours of working time allowed for it...this wil be simple maybe ill alighn her tomorow just to be fun like that......i was just wondering if there was any sorta little tricks or fun things to do...like droping the k meber...yeah...fun fun thanks for the help
