the are made by DLF. A member here.

Shown are the old bushings I removed & the new one's.

I will press them in soon.

If you have one, it's not a bad idea to run a 1 1/4" drill bit (carefully!) through the bushings after you bang them in. You should be able to put them in with just a dead blow mallet, I do.

Man that control arm looks like its been out in the rain for a while. You might wanna throw that in a blast cabinet and spray a little paint on it.

Nice upgrade though! Keep up the wrenching!

Cast iron looks like crap no matter what you do, but it'll last just about forever. One reason I switched to the Mark VIII LCA's. :xpwink:
+1 ...and lose a little weight too!

do you have to use the mark knuckles with the LCAs since the outer ears are different between the bird and mark?

The knuckles are the same, they just mount with different bolts.

Pressed

Hello

Well I pressed the bushings in place. Now I have to drill for the grease fittings.

Don't see using a hammer.

;)

3-21-10 Drilled for the grease fittings. Easy!

Put the inner pins

Should I grease before or after install on the car?

?? You have the right side knuckle on the left side LCA.
Hello

Well it is a test fit. apparently the knuckles are labeled wrong. lol

Why are the 90 rear brake lines so much more than the 96's??

I will be doing the other side(knuckle) on saturday.
redrilling the rotor also, both sides.

Grease

Hi

Yes, I waited until I installed them on the car. They are still loose.
I need to align the wheels first(string the car).
Then i will regrease.

The only problem installing was that the pumpkin bracket.
I had to loosen upper bolt to slide the side bolts threw.

I also upgraded to rear disc & redrilled to 4 1/2 pattern.
(I use Explorer wheels, 15in steel)

Right on, Split

Hi

I strung the car yesterday.
Rears were right on at 50-50 split on the adjusters.

The only problem was, With the new tires I had to raise the car up to see any change. I have to redo the front this way now.
need toe out of 1/8in.
