I just started to have this problem today. The bird is wanting to idle at around 2200 to 2500rpm all the time. I haven't gotten the engine wet or anything like that. It just started as I was pulling up to a stop light. The temp outside is around 115. When I disconnect the TPS the Idle doesn't seem to change at all. The only way that I can get the RPMs to fall some is to run the AC, but then that heats up the engine. Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to what the problem could be. Need help fast!!!!!
