I'm looking for the '96 - '97 T-bird OEM manifold update kit. (Not the chinese Dorman with the 'o' ring flange)

I don't know if the NPI intake with aluminum crossover is available anywhere as NOS, but you should be able to get used ones. They're not prone to cracking crossovers but they still do eventually start to leak where the plastic and aluminum meet at the gasket surfaces, and at the heater core outlet nipple. As plastic ages, bad things happen...

Any reason you don't want to just switch to the updated PI manifold, which IIRC is still available new?

I have a PI manifold, but I'd have to get the alternator bracket, gaskets, water pump nipple and offset water pipe.

Also worry a bit about the water passage size difference matching up.

All of those things are readily obtainable from places like LMR or your local junkyard, and for way less money than what a NEW npi recall intake will cost, which last I checked when it was available was something obscene like $4xx from Ford parts, double the cost of a new FRPP PI intake

If you follow the instructions on the ultra black RTV tube you won’t have any issues with the mismatched passages leaking. Right stuff works even better
