Hey, I posted this over on markviii.org so I thought I'd put it up on here too. I don't know how many guys there are on here who own Gen II Mark's but I thought this might help some of you out who want to change the stock intake tube/box to something that looks a little better. I used the intake tube that comes with the BBK coild air intake for 99-01 Cobras. (I was able to get just the part that goes from the MAF to the TB on ebay for cheap). It's a pretty good fit, there are a couple things that neeed to be moved to get this to work. If you want I can post back what I did, if nobody is interested thats fine too. I just thought if any of you wanted to add some eye candy under the hood of your mark this would help.

Thanks guys, I was surprised that it fit so well. I finished it up today with some good heatshrink tubing around the wires for the IAC that I had to lengthen.

I got A pretty good deal on those covers on ebay, I bought them for 69.99 shipped, they come on the Ford GT's. I know that Ford Racing makes a set of chrome coil covers but they are around $200. Also, you can get ones that say "Powered by SVT" that are off of the new GT500.

All Mark VIII heads are B heads
1999 Lincoln Continental 32 Valve are the C heads
But the springs in the later models where upgraded because of problems with the rockers I believe.

Hey guys, I'm looking to get $200 +shipping out of it, just to get the Cobra Intake Tube alone would probably end up costing that much. Anways, this would include the Cobra intake tube (with the two silicon hose couplings and four hose clamps, a 9in k&n cone filter, and the MAF adapter plate you need to rune the cone filter. All you will need is about 2 feet of 1/2in rubber vaccum hose, and some wires to lengthen the IAT sensor.

So how much would you be willing to pay for the tube then? You don't need to use exclamation marks either, I didnt know you had the other parts.
