Hey guys, I havent been on here since I sold my bird in April of 06.. my boss has a 94 tbird 4.6l and it's in OK shape (he wants 300 bux for it) I put a battery in it and there is NO power at all, no dash lights, no power at all. Just wondering what you guys think it might be or if u have any suggestions. I'm going to check continuity at the main cables running to the battery and fuses etc. Any ideas??

The big 175 amp fuse on the power distribution block might be broken. Get a test light and find out where the power stops.

I'll check it out.. another tbird for 300 bux.. I couldnt pass this up.. its been sittin for 18 momnths and the paint is faded, plus some rust on the passenger 1/4 panel... oh well ill fix it =)

Sadly rust is car cancer once you find some you'll find more.... and if you get rid of all of it.... it will come back

Could it be the EEC 15 fuse in the fuse block under the hood??? I found that its popped!

IIRC, it will still crank w/ that fuse removed. That's how I always reset the EEC to clear codes. But, I know it def. won't run with that blown out.

Well, i hooked up my battery box to it, and bought an autozone 20amp fuse, and it had power... the eec fuse was blown and it started up after about 3 tries!!! I drove it home and it drives real nice.. the drivers window doesnt work, the rear defrost doesnt work, and the interior is missing some pieces but other than that, it has brand new tires, coolant flush, oil, brakes, etc etc. It does need ball joints cause it rattles but it drove!!! And I got it for 200 bux, the moonroof works too... looks like im back in a tbird for a while =)

Heck, the window not working and the rear defrost may be a fuse as well. Sounds like you got a good deal! Have fun w/ the ball joints

The window motor works, just doesnt go up or down lol.. ill replace the regulator n stuff. And I have another switch for the defrost =) balljoints are nuthin =P
