Hey Houston Crew'

I would like to ask you to POLO for my White 1999 Ford Econoline 150.
Florida Plate 562 XAZ

To what happened !
I was out there last week for work and left the Van with the GC since there is more work coming up within the next few months. The GC had permission to use if needed to get materials. This Wednesday 06/23 after delivering some Material to a Job side in Frensworth he gave MY Van to his (not so good known) Brother in Law ROY VOYKIN to drive the Van to the GC's House. VOYKIN drove a helper home and is since then on the lose with the Van. He was last seen in Missouri City on Thursday 06/24 and does not answer any calls from the GC or other PPL who try to get my Van back.
Frensworth Police told me today that they cant do anything since the Van was lend to VOYKIN by the GC. That makes it a Civil matter. The Insurance never called me back, i was hoping to cancel the Insurance ASAP and may get his Ass pulled over this way.
I wish i had the time and Money to drive the Bird out there and find that sucker.

Anyway, if y'all see some let me know please, my cell is 786-263-3889. I will Post
the Tel. from the Local GC (Frank) later.

Thanks for Locking. Sincerely, -Maic

That sucks man, but DO NOT cancel the insurance, Im no expert on in this particular situation but that doesn't sound like a good idea. I would also think after a reasonable time period, it would be/should be considered stolen, he was to only take a helper home and to stop by a friends....the van should have been returned no later then the next day.
It will be a hard find, as in a metro area of 5-6 million there are white vans galore, he may have even ripped the florida tag off and stole Texas one.

now that I think more about it, it is stolen you did not give ROY VOYKIN permission to drive it and its not the GC's vehicle to lend.....call the police and tell them your van is stolen....don't accept anything less.

Sorry to hear that. Have you tried calling the Houston Police to see if you can report it stolen? Dont know what GC stands for but what about him calling it in stolen? You did agree to lend it to a friend only to use it for supplies and not to let someone else driving it around. The cutting insurance might help getting him pulled over but chances are very slim and you have a greater chance of him getting in a accident. With the van in your name you will be responsible for any damage caused.

yeah, you may be right. I'll stay with the insurance for now.
GC stands for GENERAL CONTRACTOR
I called Harrison PD and was refereed to Frensworth PD. It's a Civil Mater.

How well do you know this GC? I would not allow anyone to use the van if your out of state.
I know him 50/50 . Still, the Company He / I work for are Very Exclusive and
High-End with Locations Worldwide. Not just anyone would get a job there.
From my personal impression he is a stand up guy.

Do you have the address where Roy Voykin lives?
Nope, and he's not home. The GC check's there and has PPL driving by there.

is this his known real name.......plz advise us of all info you have on him.
yups, thats his real Name.

LOL and Thanks. No, the Tools are save. The Van was Actually Parked at the house from a Sales Person. The GC suggested to take the Tools out and store them in the Garage. He also took some more small tools and boxes out of the van before he was using it. So, thankfully the Tools are Save.

I'll call the GC later and also but his Tel. on here.

I just checked the GPS for the Address where the Van was Parked Originally ( Sales Persons House). In the Driveway next to the House. There is a TCCoA Sticker on the top center of the Windshield. ;)

56xx Spellman Rd , Houston TX 77096

I told Preston the story...he wonders if maybe the GC knew something like this would happen....thus the suggestion to put the tools in the garage? It's a really sad world where you can't trust anyone :( I think i'd still try to find a way to report it as stolen - if anything the GC should step up and do that for you.

Okay, the Van was Recovered in Missouri City Yesterday. The GC was called to Voykin's Mother House where the Van was left. All looks good except for some missing items (Radio, Miter Saw Stand, 10" and 12" Saw Blade, Air Compressor).
I will know more in 3 weeks.

Thanks again. -Maic
