No, it is about an inch too short.

There are a couple people using it. It is .4" too long so you'll need to drop the differential a tiny bit to squeeze it in there and swap the Yokes.

Incorrect! The MarkVIII driveshaft is TOO SHORT for the early AOD cars, not too long.

Prove me wrong.

Mark 8 and 4.6L shafts are the longest of the shafts.

The Driveshaft lengths are Stickied in the Driveshaft section.

There is somebody on SCCOA who recently installed one in his AOD SC also.

Crap, you're right! Open mouth, insert foot. I had the 2 right next to each other a few months ago, I must have reversed the lengths in my mind. Sorry.

Its cool, it happens. I just had my buddy pick one up not long ago for his 1991 AOD 5.0 Tbird .... ;)

That C6 is a Huge, Heavy Beast.

Yeah, if you put the AOD yoke in a 4r70w tailshaft, it will spill tranny fluid all over ... dont ask me how I know this. :rolleyes:
