Completely there with you. If this were a normal Mustang EV I don’t think anyone would have a problem with it, myself included. Same if this were called anything else like it should have been. Popping a Mustang badge onto another generic crossover body with skinny tires is what I have a major problem with.

This is what I see when I look at the Mach E

Based on the live chat last night to hate on the elephant in the room, that they created a Mustang 4-door SUV, you’re a backward thinking EV hater.

Final thought: how much versatility does a pseudo fastback SUV even have? Isn’t the whole point of tall hatchbacks cargo area?

That one in Velocity Blue doesn't look so horrible but the Tesla definitely looks better still. I agree with leaving the mustang name off this SUV and the worst part is these will be assembled in Mexico...

I find it really cheesy that the GT uses a obvious fake grille vs the grilleless nose of the normal mocky. I’m guessing they’re rationale is the poseur Tesla wannabes and soccer moms buy the standard version while the Mustang faithful buy the GT, which couldn’t possibly swallow the notion of a grilleless GT

Oh wait...

IIRC, those were incredibly popular.

I have a buddy that has both a carbed version, and an injected version, and they are light and nimble cars.
The carbed one eats Lazarus alive thru our favorite curvys, since he's bought new shocks, lol. :)

Something later mustangs are not.

I like the 4-eyed ones better personally.

But then, I'm 4-eyed also :p:p

I laugh, but we have the same fugly dealer packages on our cars, lol.

I read that caption as "With Gay Sports Group".
Dude looks like a 70's porn star, and his costar.

LMG, the Infiniti? :)

Is it just me or does it have a Jaguar front plate?

This is what they should sell, if the Mustang is going to be a SUV:

Eventually, much like the 70's, all cars will look the same again.

We called the toyota/ford/chevy/mazda 4cylinders "Shitboxes" back then, because they all had that same "Square cornered stack of burger boxes" look to them.

Gas prices are just as bad now as they were then, and people drive 8mpg trucks here mostly. :)

Actually, they're worse; we had lines at $0.50 a gallon, and people freaked, but that's only $2.20 now. Gas is more, even tho we're exporting it again.

I'll agree it's getting there, but there SOME differentiation there.

The Ford Flex looks similar to very few others, but the Explorer looks like a bunch of others now.

The ones you posted are shadow copies, lol.

The Focus looks like a bunch of other brand cars, and things are starting to copy the Prius, for heaven's sake. damn. ok,

Lol. Had to go into Knoxville Monday to meet someone, and dude in a Prius was ******* with me on the way home.
His speed limiter kicked in at ~85, lol.
He got so pissed. :)

All of the differentiation in new cars is the badge, the grille and maybe a random crease or two in the sides. Sports cars, expensive brands and the like are still distinguishable, but somewhat anynomous for the brands.

Having driven a Prius V for an extended period of time, if he fucked with you up to 85mph something is very wrong with your car. Their acceleration is pitiful!

When it comes to a grill-less bodied car, I like the look of the 65-69 Chevy Corvair. That would make an awesome electric car.

No no no.
I fucked with him, mostly.

He was trying to be in the way, and blocking the passing lane, then he tried to hang with me on the interstate.

The Tbird was missing a bit, but it wasn't important.

I messed with him, giving him the hope of closing a gap, or passing me again, that was the funny part.

I'd take him to the point his car bogged, then let off and **** with him, lol.

Yes, I suck sometimes, lol.

I got a 1st-3rd gear burnout today, with my buddy in a police car beside me, lol.
