I changed my oil/spark plugs yesterday. I turned the car on, and white smoke kept coming out (probably cold). I drove it for about 20 minutes and came back home. I messed around with my subs for a little while and went out to drive, and my check engine light satyed on. Any thoughts? I never reset the computer, should that matter?

Next time you take it out for a drive, make a trip by AutoZone. Have your codes read and then we'll be able to help you out a lot better. ;)

spark plug gap maybe or messed plug

I changed my spark plugs and also got my check engine light on. I checked the gap of all the plugs again, one was a little off and then I removed the spark plug wires and put them on again and made sure they were tight. Once this was done the check engine light went off. Try that if not then go to autozone but some of us like me :( don't have an autozone...

Good point DGERMANN, do I'd go with what he said. Check your plug gaps and your wires and then see about getting codes read, if the light stays on that is.
