it's a work in progress; still waiting on about 6ft of an04 line as to keep my solenoids out of view....but here are some pics thus far:

i'll try and snap some under car pics sometime, i'm routing my n20 line in line with the frame rails. oh, and i'm running a 50shot wet kit. intime i will also purchase some more grey carpet to mold around the bottle so it's out of view as well...

not much just a couple basic things engine wise-
top, pulley, p.wires, cai.
exhaust- downtubes and y-pipe:eek: which sounds like crap.
according to everything i read i should be ok with the 50 wet shot. im keeping everything mild until i get my tweecer and i can really see what's going on in my engine..

Oh, fuc_K.
You are running a wet system Josh? Why not dry with that small amount of juice?
WTF, is that a caulk gun I see? JEEZ! I hope it is something else.

And you better make a video with the juice flowing.

Is your injection at the top or the bottom of the IC tube? I can't really tell. Please tell me it is the top though.

Edit for the 3rd time. :) What kit did you get I may have to follow suit. I was seriously contemplating it anyway. Almost ordered a kit last night.

okay-
you are not seeing a caulking gun....
i'm running a wet kit; cause i bought it from my roomate for 350 and i decided to run it. i'm running it in the lower ic tube; that's why i took all of that chit out. i also wanted to run it there to avoid fuel puddling and more of the n20 will reach the engine( as oposed to running it through the ic first)
it's the basic nx kit; not sure exactly of the part #

Dude, I see that it is on the IC tube. But the top part or the tube or the bottom (closer to the IC) I agree with you, you definitly want it after the IC for a better cooling effect on the intake air. I am only worried that if it is on the lower portion of the return IC tube it may puddle on the way up.

I really don't know though.

If that is where it is mounted I would double check with someone who has nitrous experience. Man that would be fun to push a button and have your azz planted.

Good luck Josh. Hows the gears coming?

oh duh(what the hell was i thinking)- it's on the upppper part of the tube- like 3 inches away from where it clamps on to the intake. i agree that mounting it on the bottom part of the tube would be worthless.
i'm still up in the air about the gears- when i found out how much it'd be to get them i started saving money and now i'm doing other things first. here's how much it's going to cost for gears:
1. gears: 140
2. trac loc rebuild kit: 110
3. tweecer(to play with my shift points) 500
----i feel the tweecer is necessary b/c my roomate had 3.73s in his aode mustang and went through two of them before he just converted to t5--
4. having pumpkin acid dipped(cleaned)--??
5. having everything installed....i'm assuming close to 300 at best.
not to mention i'm going to be ordering the poly bushings and wynn's poly mount(if i can ever get a hold of him)

Cut some of the fat there.
Gears 140 (thats cheap)
Rebuild t-lock is ~$70 No bearings or seals though
Install gears I'd assume ~200.

450 would be safe. or for 600 get the frpp pumpkin from Justin?

The TBU guys think we should be running 3.55s w/ the wide ratio and all of our torque but I am still undecided.

That is a good place (in my opinion) to mount the nozzle. I might have put it into the return manifold after the bypass valve so there is no chance of recirculation but there may not even be room for that. Plus you will have easier access to change jets.

Buy the tweecer, you'll need it sooner or later.

about placement of the nozzle- i agree, i was thinking of running it after they bypass as well, but i was being lazy and decided not to:(
i figure 110 for the complete rebuild kit, because i just want to get it all out of the way and not think about it. and regarding the gears- i've read tons of posts on them and i figure i'll toss the 3.73s in and if i like them great, and if they suck i'll put my 3.31s (or whatever our scs have..no short term memory). and yes, i have been following your gear thread closely on tbu!
i'm throwing money at my car in all sorts of directions. i kinda buy stuff when i can get a decent deal on them- i'm purchasing h&r lowering springs and some other random stuff at the moment.
i have all this money saved up and am undecided where i should really put it :( help me julian, i need some direction! :p

Once the whipple starts selling we will see a lot of MP sh1t for sale. The trick will be to wait awhile for the prices to fall.

You could fix your exhaust problem. :) Or order a new wild cam, spearco custom IC, rims, rear sway bar, koni's, al radiator/pulleys. Or keep saving for the whipple. But it is going to be ~4k I would assume. The SC new is 2k, then the R&D and manifolds, Front mount, blah blah. Man I would love one of those.

haha oh god no! it's not even ready yet, i just mounted everything; before my car is running again i'm going to need a lot more. My goal is to have it out by the end of may. the main things i need are:
tires
t.pan&cooler (which i'm going to order from reinhardt)
ic gaskets(on the way)
6ft of fuel line for my n.kit(on it's way)
and probably a few other things I'm not thinking of at the moment...

why does the intercooler tube run like that? is it modified or is that how they come on the 95's? i'm just curious, i've never seen one like that. the ones i usually see say supercharged on them and are routed differently.

That's the lower intercooler tube that he is showing. You're talking about the upper intercooler tube that says supercharged. He doesn't have the upper tube installed on the car yet.

Thats a pretty sneaky setup. The heat from the exhaust manifolds won't hurt the solenoids? I want to run a kit on my SC, but I want it hidden. Dave's is beautiful, but there is no denying that there is a nitrous kit on the car. If I even did pop the hood for someone I wouldn't want them to see the nitrous solenoids or lines. I'll have to get a kit soon, and I might mount solenoids low like that too, and run the line to the exact length and cut it so you don't have any clue of the nitrous on the car if you don't know where to look.

Here's what I'm planning on doing to protect the solenoids from the heat:
my roomate has some left over sheet metal from when he was covering up holes in his firewall on his mustang. I'm just going to fab a shield out of that and spray it with some high temp enamel(like the kind from jegs). As far as the lines goe, i'm going to wrap those with fuel line wrap.I'm at work and dont have access to part numbers, but i'll get those tonight.
