My new Shock Tower brace

Actually I have not driven it with the tower brace in it yet.

I have driven it with the torsion brace and I did notice a good bit of stiffness.

I used 1 inch steel tube for the torsion brace and 2 inch galvinaized channel for the tower brace.

I hope it keeps the back straight.
And no more flexing.

The wall thickness was half an inch.

Really strong. I can lift my car with the torsion brace.

Wow what a huge difference when I drove to work this morning.

The rear stays super flat in the turns.

Now to go to work on the front.

Uhm.. U interested in fabbing the rear torsion brace and the brace in the trunk for me and makin some $$?? Lol

I have had them on other cars and yes the braces all work to keep the car solid.

I have not got to them yet on my Bird.
