This happend all of a sudden today..pulling out of a driveway I herd one clunking noise. and my steering wheel went to the left. now when im driving straight my wheele is turned to the left and so on....when I go to do a normal turn it takes twice as many turns at the wheel...whats going on? also for some odd it seems that the tread is making alot of noise when griping to the road...wtf is goin on?

Jack it up and take a look. That much movement all of a sudden is not good but also whatever broke is should be real obvious

the rubbing sound of the tire tread would make me guess that an inner or
outer tie rod has failed. This would normally be accompanied by a severe
toe out problem (as you described) along with significantly more slop/play
in the steering.

Jack up the car (with the steering locked) and move each of the wheels
To see if there any play.

my rack and pinnion broke ;(
