I'm looking to get a high stall torque converter, for my 1992 5.0L HO Cougar.

In the next year, I'm planning on getting both Edelbrock heads, and a 351 block.

But since the work is not yet done (and like most car mods - it's up in the air), and the car is stock - the converter I need has to be suitable to both.

So with these power scopes in mind - what's my best choice for a torque converter?

I'm SICK of the stock 1500 rpm converter, but don't want anything crazy that takes 4000rpm's to get her moving. I'm thinking roughly 2500-3000, but don't know where to buy, or what to get.

Hi John,

Do you know where I can find one?

Or any info about them?

Thanks,

Kevin.

Alright - thanks John, I fired off an email/request for info from them :).

Hopefully it ain't too pricey - and that it's a good aplication for my car.
