It's tough to get a deep sound out of the SC v6. Check out sccoa.com Whatever you do, do not not put a resonator on. Biggest places for improvement (performance wise) is the stock resonator and then downtubes and cats. My '95 has a deep tone at idle, but once you get on it all you hear is the supercharger (which I like better anyway). That has aftermarket cats and a custom dual exhaust with headers. My '89 XR7 still has the stock exhaust and probably sounds just as deep at idle. Your car will never sound like a v8 no matter what you do though.
