New 4.5 rear IRS hub option?

Drive TrainMaybe I'm just dreaming here, but that's why I'm asking. I've been driving my dad's '99 Explorer for the last few days and I really love it, specifically the tranny. Who can't leave the O/D button alone?
Drive TrainI was wondering who uses overdrive (O/D) when driving around town (speeds under 55). I am always flipping the O/D button depending where I am driving. Does it cause wear to the trans. if the O/D is disabled for extended times. At constant highway speeds I always enable the O/D.- 50

Clunk coming from rear
Drive TrainWhen accelerating then letting off the accelerate Im getting a slight clunking from the rear of my car, it's mostly when the car is cold, sounds like something is knocking back and forth in the trunk area, haven't got a chance to get her on a lift yet.
