My 94 has 182,000 miles on and is still running pretty strong. 15.07 at ST. Louis with street tires.

Dry Compression gave me a low of 150 and a high of 165.

Wet compression gave me a low of 190 and a high of 205.

The question is:

Should I do a head swap on this engine or not??????????????????

Uses about 1 qt of oil per 1500 miles running at hwy speed (80 mph).
It leaks a very little from the rear main and I never see any blue smoke.

I am on the fence about this.

I would leave it alone. Get a another motor and build it up. It not the heads its all the other stuff you have to replace taking old motor apart. You need to chains, tensiors, one piece cam spocket, gasket etc. etc etc. New intake if you go with PI heads. Then you need to get all the stuff to make it work. Just get a 300 dollar 75 shot zex kit and have some fun

For the cost of a headswap you could just buy a low mileage replacement from a GT or an Exploder. It's not worth it anymore, unless you got the parts for next to nothing.
