ok, I have an image that I want as my avatar...but am clueless when it comes to picture editing...I spent the last 2 hrs trying to get it right...and It always says "Image too large"...Anyone out there good at avatars if I send you the image???

you have to make the pic 75x75 or less, all you gotta do is shrink it down to that size. I used paint to make mine, just a basic pic, with paint if it looks like the same size as you see the avatars on the boards then its the right size or close. So just shrink it down till it looks the right size and it should work fine.

open it in paint and go to "Image" in the top bar and then "attributes" and choose pixels for the units and it'll show you it's demensions. If it's too big either trim it a bit or go to "Image" and then "Strecth/Scew" and then lower the percentage to shrink the image.
