Might buy this SL1, just looking for a cheap 4 cyl that is good on gas. Do any of you guys have this car or heard good things about it? Feedback is welcome...good or bad, thanks, let me know!

might be a little too much money for that car.

They are good econoboxes, my girlfriend used to have one.

For a few grand more you could get an ion which is way more refined than that.

my econobox is a 98 escort sport with 170k.. i get 40mpg highway =) check kbb.com for it's price! btw, every saturn ive worked on burns oil!

i have owned 95 sl1 and 99 sl1, im not one to like these small cars, but for the dd it was great very reliable and awesome on fuel, great for what they are. May my 95 RIP and thankfully not me, i fell asleep behind the wheel back in 03, rolled it at least 4 times off the interstate.........

Well **** if you rolled it 4 times and your typing on TCCoA right now I'd say it's a safe car! lol (glad your ok) :D

im very lucky, only one small cut on my finger, but did fracture in my spine and some compressed vertebrate.
But ya i think it would be a good buy, they hold resale value well.
