I have an open cone filter sucking in the hot air from the motor but I like how it looks at that location (I dont wanna put it in fender). Anyways, I've searched the threads here and theyre all 10 yrs old. Does anybody make these or have them anymore? If I have to rig up something with plexiglass than I will if thats the only choice. If anybodys here done it with plexiglass, what measurement of the plexiglass did you get?

thanks

Get some cardboard.
Mock it up.
When it looks right, disassemble it and buy the appropriate sized plexiglass.

When I made a Heatshield b/c I re-used but rotated the position of my airbox for the splitport setup, I just used some aluminum flashing I had laying around.

Rayo, that a one size fits all cone filters (short or long of course) but it doesnt matter what type of car? My cone filter is a 9 inch spectre
Right..You need the 10" Heat Shield then..

Here's a link--->>10" Heat Shield

I'd consider the box shield wolfer shows or a large panel next to the rad - something that isolates the cone. I have an 01 GT OE round cone and box and i still see elevated ACTs in datalogs.

The chrome looks cool but it may not be truly effective. Just my opinion tho.
