okay i need some help from anyone who has a 3.8 1989-1990 or ^ where is the knock sensor on a '90 3.8 located and what would be the symptom's if it was bad i.e. check engine light. plus my coolant reservior has a coolant level sensor and connection's but i don't have the Vehicle Maintenence Monitor so i don't know if it work's or not or how it work's. also i noticed the pre '89 elect. dashboard came with a service interval reminder does the '89 & ^ come with it too. and how does it work and/or let you know what to service? sorry for all the question's THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The knock sensor is located below the passanger side exhaust manifold. Do you have a Super Charged engine? Because there is no knock sensor on a N/A car. If the sensor is bad, it could do a lot of things, check engine light, and screw with the timming of the engine.
