Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you have to take off the nut at the front (frame) side of the strut bar as well. I'm not an experienced suspension guy, but from everything I've looked at, it seems like you have to take the nut off at the front as well to give the bar enough wiggle room. I hope someone else chimes in with an easier way.

You are replacing just the bushings where the sway bar meets the lower control arm, correct? If so, then don't touch the front nut. The easiest way is to basically almost remove the LCA. First mark the cam bolt where the LCA bolts to the subframe, this way when it goes back together you can keep your alignment pretty close. Next take out the lower shock bolt that goes through the arm, and then finally remove the cam bolt where the LCA mounts to the subframe. Now you should be able to pry out the inner side of the LCA out of the subframe, and then it should move enough to get it off the strut rod so you can change all those bushings.
