Me and my girlfriend's stepdad replaced the water pump and thermostat last tuesday and it appears the housing is leaking. Im pretty sure the gasket is on straight but i think he put the bolts on too tight and bent the housing. I called all the autoparts stores and advanced is the only one who carries the part but none of those housings look like the one i have. I have a 93 LX. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks.

Two things:

The thermostat likes to slip down when you're installing it, preventing the gasket from sealing correctly. Here's a tip that I posted on another thread in this forum:

A little secret of mine for installing the thermostat:

Thread a piece of string through the thermostat, then run both ends of the string through the t-stat housing. You can use the string to hold the tstat in place while you bolt up the housing. After it's bolted on, just pull the string out and you're done.

I guess it's not a secret anymore. :D

If the problem is indeed that your thermostat housing is warped, email me at [email protected], I should have a few good ones in stock.
