While on the subject! :rolleyes:

When torquing the rear knuckles to the rear control arms, does the weight of the car need to be on the suspension like it does when torquing the front suspension? I haven't heard mention of it before so I figured I'd ask! :D

A good rule of thumb is any time you tighten a nut/bolt that passes through a suspension pivot point, the weight of the car needs to be on the pivot point (and preferably with both sides with the weight of the car on them so both corners are at the same height/load). :thumbsup:

I try to snug it up and then bounce on the suspension a couple of times to settle it out, and then torque the nut/bolt to spec.

But that is just the way I do it and it may or may not be the best way. :thumbsup:

Tighten the big nuts to 100 ft lbs, and the small ones to 50 ft lbs.
