What other cam can I put in a '96 3.8L stock tbird w/little or no modifications? Also, how much HP gain would I see from it? Is it even worth it? How hard would it be to install (just drop the oil pan and replace?). Thanks!
A lot of work is involved to change cams. The intakes and valve covers need to come of the top end, then the drive accessories, water pump and front cover need to come off the front. There's other things that need to be done also, this could go on. Power gains depend on the grind and what you might be running it with, P+P heads and intakes, blowers etc. Just a little bit of work.
