Hello everyone. I had 3 cougars years ago. My first one was a black 84 3.8L, then a gold 91 5.0, then a 92 Anniversary edition Green 5.0L I loved and miss that one. Then I had a 00 Mustang when I was 21. I added a 2001 Cobra Motor, SHM stroker, Cams, Stage 1 heads, Lentech AODE strip terminator trans and many other things. Well now I have a family and got rid of the stang.
Once again I see myself looking at getting another Cougar or a T Bird. I want a 95+ with a 4.6L. Probally will be purchasing in Feb. Want to make a nice sleeper. Either Explorer motor or a 99+ Mustang GT motor, forged internals, built trans, some gear in the rear and if I an get a turbo I would a turbo set up or a nice KB supercharger.

Lol, well I have been without a car to have fun with for over a year now. I was looking at getting a 96-98 Stang. But finacially don't wanna do that right now. I was thinkin and remembered my Cougars. I loved them. I got mine back in 99 and 00 for around $4k so I am hoping to find one for arund $1800-2300. Plus the insurance for the Cougar or T Bird will be cheaper then the Stang. Plus I like to havea nice sleeper car.

my setup is kinda a backyard set up. Not even done yet. I just used to junkyard turbos mounted by turning the JBA shorties towards the front of the motor and welding up the pipe and flanges. Oh yeah and i dont have AC or PS anymore which makes routing the headers like that possible on a 4.6 being so wide. Or you can look into remote mounting the turbos like SIR WIL did at the back of the car...
