Made it to Rockingham yesterday to put in a few runs with Robert and Hans as well.

Weather wasn't the best and I had to remember how to prep and launch. I had to run all 3 within 45 mins since I was already late to something back in Charlotte. :)

Videos somewhere.

BTW this was literally as I drove in minus swapping the rear tires for my drag radials and leaving the spare out.

Slips:

Run 1
60' 1.843
330' 5.184
1/8 7.959
MPH 88.42
1000' 1.368
1/4 12.398
MPH 110.75

Run 2
60' 1.711
330' 5.045
1/8 7.812
MPH 88.69
1000' 10.216
1/4 12.242
MPH 111.01

Run 3
60' 1.697
330' 5.030
1/8 7.805
MPH 88.31
1000' 10.216
1/4 12.25
MPH 110.48

The 3rd run had the best launch but the car was nice and hot still.

I'm hoping with consistent running of the car I can knock on 11's but if need be I can just put in some 4.10's or cams. :)

Good runs.

I was wondering if you and Robert ran the cars yesterday. Sorry I didn't make it this week. I plan on going next Saturday, the 13th.

You should run again next week - you'll have more time. Hope to see you there.

Already have something going Saturday.

I'm thinking about running at zMax Thursday if you're around.

You lucky dog! I won't be back from Pittsburgh until Friday. Let me know how it is.

I bet it will be packed with cars; everybody will be wanting to run the new dragstrip.

This is the first time its been opened to the public for test & tune runs isn't it?

I wouldn't call it a test n tune with no slicks/nitrous allowed (DOT only) but we'll see how it goes. From what I've gathered they are just trying to get a feel for what things will be like/flow so to speak.

good runs will, glad you could make it.
robert's got some videos and we were looking at them and your car launches well, good weight transfer and the front really comes up.

we went to fayetteville on sunday too. we're starting to think fayetteville may become the preferred track, it was prepped good, and the track crew did a good job keeping things moving... there were probably just as many people there and no waiting.

I bet with some more tuning, you could be in the 11s.

hans

ps. thanks for those trim pieces too.

Man Fayetnam is a LONG drive for me...

I will never do a freaky friday there that's for sure.

I think the good prep is from the rubber I left spinning half way down the track. :)

Gotta get Rob to get those f'n videos up. :)

1800-2000rpm is my launch point.

I may go run at zMax Thursday but it's still up in the air.
