well for those who read my thread a couple weeks ago, the tranny is in! for those of you who don't, i had to replace my tranny because i broke the output shaft and it shattered the tailshaft. but the new tranny seems to have a problem. when i start the car up in the morning or after the car has been sitting for a while, when i go to shift, especially from 1-2, it is hard to shift, its almost like it doesn't want to. and it feels like the syncros are grinding. but once i drive it like 10-15 minutes it shifts perfectly. anyone no what this might be?
-by the way, its an M5R2! if you couldn't tell.

Just a thought, but the older manual trannies used 80-90w gear oil, and the newer manual tranny in my dodge uses 10w-30 engine oil.

Did you put in the right weight oil. If you put in the heavy weight when it needed the light weight, it would take a while to warm up the oil.

I am new to the forum, so if you are one of the specialists, I don't mean to offend.
