It's tires are on backwards.

Seriously, those are directional tires going the wrong direction. ;)

They are on backwards because the tires act as a "paddle"when going through the water. I used to have a swamp buggy we had to do that to. It kicks the water upward more when going forward.

Yeah, the other way would cut through the water similar to aqua-treds. If I'm not mistaken a certain blue F-150 in St Louis was able to pull it off with the treads pointing forward, of course he doesn't weigh near as much as that lincoln.

It is a four wheel steer vehicle. Mabye he just prefers to drive backwards and adjusted his tires to his liking.
