hopefully someone could help me with an ignition problem i'm having with my 92sc.i'm getting a very bad engine miss.i tested my wires with a timing light and have found i am not getting any spark out of the #1and#4 posts on my coil.i swapped the wires to see if any of them were bad,but their ok.i also swapped the dis and tested the coil with an ohm meter and they also seems to be ok.anyone have a clue what else could be causing this problem?one other thing i did notice was if i rev up the engine i do get some spark through the 2 ignition wires but nothing to steady.any help would be appreciated.thank you

Welcome to the forums.

It's possible the ignition control module is faulty, or has dirty/corroded mounting screws, or is loose. I don't have a 1992 Service Manual; the 1993 manual has a detailed procedure for testing, and I cam across the ignition control module possibility. Other ideas: bad ground or power to ignition.

Good luck to you.

I wonder if it couldn't have somethign to do with the cranks or cam sensors.
