I am going to be replacing sometime soon a Dorman intake manifold that was already on my car when I bought it last year with NON-PI Ford intake manifold (before anyone starts into me, I have my reasons why I don't want to put a PI intake on it at this time) and I have a question - since I'm not installing a PI intake it isn't necessary to remove the water pump, is it? The only reason for that is to replace the nipple and water tube that goes under the manifold to clear the PI intake, correct?
