So last year I finally got round to replacing my odometer gear while we were in lockdown. I've only had the parts to do it for about 5yrs(!). In case its useful to anyone contemplating doing theirs, here are a few pictures taken at various stages of doing mine. It all went very well and the odometer has started moving again for the first time sonce about 2009!

While you're doing this you can adjust your odometer at the same time...

I would have liked to, but couldn't see a way to do it and was worried about breaking something! I'm sure its easy when you know how.

I just looked at www.odometergears.com for both gears it's $50. That's crazy to me just to have a working odometer. Mine's been broke since I bought the car, ~3.5 years ago. I was going to fix it when I do some stereo work soon, but it ain't that important to me.

I seem to remember mine cost about $30 but it was a few years ago now. It wasn't working for nearly 10 years, and it's great to have it moving again.
