I also have a Ford AM/FM/CD Player that I'd like to get rid of. I believe it was originally intended for a 1998 or 1999 Ford Contour, but I had it modified at a place that does warranty work for Ford on their radios and electronics so that it would match the instrument panel lighting of my 2000 Mustang GT (the lighting of the radio was changed from green to that bluish-green that some Fords, like the Mustang & Taurus, used to use). It is meant to be used only with a premium sound system, like the Mach 460 system my Mustang had, that has a seperate power amplifier. I do not believe it will work without the seperate amp!

The only cars that I know it will fit AND match the instrument panel lighting are the 1994-2000 Mustangs (Ford changed the Mustang instrument panel lighting to green in 2001, as well as the entire radio chassis size). I'm sure it will fit some other Fords, too (it would NOT fit my '97 T-Bird; the chassis was too deep and was hitting a brace behind the radio opening that was preventing it from locking into place).

It is in perfect working condition and I'd like $35 shipped for it. Here are some pics:

Dammit! One day too late. Quick question though, do you know if this will work with the JBL premium sound systems in the Tbird/Cougar/Taurus/Sable?
