Come join myself and Spectator Racing for a great day of fast driving, food, fun and good people, all for a good cause.

$150. (lots of track time) Noobie friendly (4 run groups). Cant have more fun with your clothes on.

http://www.gingermanraceway.com/ <- track info SEE POST BELOW FOR REGISTRATION LINK

Spectator-Racing would like to formally invite you guys to our Champions Track Event:

Saturday April 18 at Gingerman Raceway

Start the racing season right at our High Performance Driving Event in South Haven, MI, and help those affected by Alzheimer's Disease. It will be a full day of driving and fun, with an all day HPDE, lunchtime parade laps, and an after party with music, food, and beverages provided.

All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association of Michigan.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help this worthy cause. You can go to the track any weekend, but how many times do you get to go to the track AND help those in need?

We're trying to make this event more accessible to drivers' families, as well. Local restaurants will be providing lunch and dinner and Spectator-Racing is providing beverages. We are also planning on live music, auctions, and possibly a car show during the day.

Ever want to let your wife (or husband) take a few laps on the track? During the lunch hour, for a $20 donation to AA, anyone is welcome to drive thier vehicle around the track at more "reasonable" speeds - no vehicle restrictions and no helmets required!

Sport trucks are welcome at the event, such as Ford Lightnings and GMC Syclones.

Registration and tech inspection begins at 7:30

First group on track at 9:00

After party begins as soon as the last car is off the track, around 5:00

good to meet you!!

I have a lot of video of your car, I always caught you at the end of the second straight so I had to follow you for the entire lap, but as a side benifit I have AWESOME shots of your car doing its thing. They should be digitized wednesday.

did you get any laptimes while you were there?
I was ran a best of 1:37.11
C5 Z06 with slicks using the same timing box ran 1:37.13 (he has 46 track days under his belt too)

Thanks I think, Ya I'm glad I still went even with the tire troubles. Helped me get to know the track since I was going slower. I almost through the damn tires through the window today at belle tire, but they said they would fix it so I guess thats cool.

And no I don't time my laps, unless I know the track well and know I can put up some good times.

It was good to meet you and see Brad again. Let me know if you go out again this summer.

Dave
