NPI block with PI heads, cams and intake... What is the best shift point for this setup WOT? I was told about 5600, does this sound right?

You sure you want to spin a 12 inch torque converter that high? I THINK 5400 is the limit, but I might be wrong.

as bangster said, if you have an updated converter and can safely spin higher than the 5400 limit on the 12" converter, then yes 5600-5800 would be about right, with the 2-3 happening about 200 RPM less than the 1-2

Try the 2-3 anywhere from 4800 to 5500 and see where it starts slowing down the acceleration before the shift. If you have a stock single exhaust you might need to drop down alot lower like below 5000. I would think if you are still on a stock single you could at least find a stock dual for near nothing which really isn't all that bad other than being completely silent.

Right now I'm using factory duals. But I plan to delete the cats and run 2-1/4 to mufflers then turndowns.
