I have a 96 T-bird LX with the sport package. I am ;;ooking for a good caove for putdoor use. I need protection from cold, acid rain and the like. I would like the cover to be form fitting and allowing for my mirrors and wing. Any help will be appreciated.

I'd do a Google search for car covers. Plenty of companies make them, in a lot of different materials for whatever you need.

Not sure if this one is still available, but it's made out of a good material for outdoors.

I strongly reccomend the wolf car covers at summit...
I've had mine for 2 yrs and when I pull the cover off in the spring
the car looks just like when I put it on...
And it's a perfect fit...

I use a cover on mine as well. Research the type and quality and the UV protection. Wolf does make excellent covers. I tried hard to find one that exactly fit my Bird, but to no avail. Just make sure the one you get fits snug. Nothing worse than wind rub on your paint job.
