My climate control has that 'outside temp' button you can press to see the (you guessed it) outside temp..

Well, it's appeared to work correctly since I bought the car in November..

Now that the warmer weather is here I've noticed it only goes up to 66 degrees and stops there?? If it's 50 out, it displays 50 but as the temp goes up to 80 (like today) it just holds steady at 66


Ever here of that??

Most likely the sensor has gone or is going bad.

IIRC, It should be located on the fronot of the radiator support just to the left of the latch. It looks just like a screw in temperature sensor (which I think it actually is...)

VERY simple to replace. :D

They are no longer stocked, I had one of the parts guys here track one down and send it to me, and while this one isn't as lazy as the original, it still takes some time to come up to temp. I saw it read 105 once last year, generally only got up to the 80s (when it really was in the 100+'s)
