Go to an autoparts store or something like that and buy a clay bar. Use it like a rag with a mixture of 6:1 soap and water and wash it off.

you mean use the clay bar in place of a rag or in a rag?

Use the claybar directly on the paint. Use plenty of water or windex to keep it lubricated. If it gets dry you WILL scratch your car.

Most clay kits come with some sort of lubricant unless you just buy the clay itself (Meguiar's markets tubs of "Detailing Clay" under their professional line). I just use Meguiar's Quik Detailer when I clay stuff. Speaking of which, I think it's time for that again.

Yes use it as a rag and if you can't afford the whole kit use a mixture of soapy water and when you get done rinse it off. BTW, at first it will feel rough and then it'll get smooth, that's letting you know when it's clean.
